This VW Polo came into us with staining all over the paintwork and glass.
It had been caused by the owner spraying undiluted prewash onto the vehicle after not fully checking the instructions.
We chemically decontaminated the paintwork using tar remover to remove tar spots. This process is then followed by fallout remover to remove any ferrous material.
Once rewashed to remove any traces of these chemicals the paintwork was clayed to further remove surface debris.
Next up we cut the paintwork back using cutting compound which removed a fine layer from the surface revealing a high gloss finish.
To compliment the restored paintwork we had to sort the glass. CarPro CeriGlass is our go to product for glass polishing. Used with a rayon pad, it cuts through the staining to leave crystal clear glass.
All these processes create a fair bit of dust and tend to find their way into every gap and edge.
We parked the car in the wash bay and jetwashed it fully to remove all the dust.
Finished with Garage Therapy Detailer the paintwork now looks stunning. Tyres dressed with Garage Therapy Tyre Serum to complete the package.
