This Mach 1 was definitely showing its age which is very strange as its only 2 years old and has covered only 8,000 miles.
It looked very tired in appearance and was sporting a mighty fine collection of stone chips. This became the first issue to resolve, touch up paint.
Thanks to the team at Clements Bodyshop we sourced the required paints to repair the chips.
After being chemically decontaminated and clayed the paintwork received a single stage enhancement. Out of nowhere the finish was totally transformed. So much more gloss!
We used the Procut software to not only print out the required templates but also create some of our own.
Rear quarter panel, rear bumper leading edge and piano black boot lid panel are now wearing custom designed ppf.
Rather than leave the A pillar ppf the standard length we extended it to the rear window. This helps to hide the ppf edge and provide even more protection.
To complete the exterior protection Titan PX10 and Ultra 4 has been applied to the paintwork.
Wheels removed to give them a very deep clean. Front Brembo calipers cleaned and coated. Interior treated to a vacuum and wipe over.
